How to get a job with a criminal record

What is it like to walk into a job interview with a letter of prior conviction? Zach Moore works as a software engineer at Checkr, a San Francisco-based Internet business.
He was incarcerated at the age of 15 and spent the next 22 years acquiring an Associates degree and learning to code.
He worked as a software developer for TLM after his release in 2018, before earning an internship at Checkr and finally becoming a full-time software engineer.
​He sees himself as an ambassador for those who are presently or have been incarcerated, and he seeks ways to enhance opportunity and equity in technology.

Youth offending - can the UK learn from Spain?

An assessment of the British adolescent justice system concluded that a new strategy is desperately needed and that education should be at the center of the reforms.
Spain is one country that takes pleasure in its efforts to reduce youth reoffending.
Nick Beake, a BBC London journalist, went to find out how they do it.
